AO Foundation Davos Courses 2016 - Medicine education event

Each year the AO Foundation conducts its flagship education event in the Congress Center over the course of two weeks in early December. The AO Foundation is a medically guided non-profit organization led by international surgeons specialized in the treatment of trauma and disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The AO fosters one of the most extensive networks of more than 16,000 surgeons, operating room personnel and scientists in over 100 countries. AO Foundation comprises four clinical divisions (AOTrauma, AOSpine, AOCMF, AOVET) who offer a variety of educational courses to surgeons during the Davos Courses. AOTrauma and AORecon (an AO initiative) courses take place in week one, while courses by AOSpine, AOCMF, AOVET and AONeuro (an AO initiative) take place in week two. The "AO World", in the foyer of the Congress Center, offers participant surgeons the opportunity to talk to experienced staff from the AO Institutes (AO Research Institute, AO Education Institute, and AO Clinical Investigation and Documentation) about how the AO meets the needs of surgeons in product development, publishing and clinical research. http://www.aofoundation.org/
